During the last few months, more than 650 Palestinian lost their lives on the streets of Baghdad, Thousands more were injured. Some have flocked over the borders to other countries, but many remain stuck for lack of entry permits. Risks to the lives of the Palestinians still in Iraq remain high and a fear of massacres like those at Sabra and Shatilla are widespread. In light of this, the Arab Thought Forum organized a debate in Jerusalem on January 27th 2007 with the participation of Jerusalem‘s community leaders. A statement has been issued containing the out come of the debate.
