Public Debates convened in 2003

An important feature of the Public Debates is the follow-up to suggestions and recommendations concluded by the meeting participants. A prime example is the working committee established at the July 29th Public Debate which discussed the problematic conditions at the Israeli Ministry of Interior Office in East Jerusalem.
This committee initiated a broad campaign supported by all sectors of civil society in Jerusalem. Although there is still more work, results thus far have been successful and effective.
