On January 19, 2009, A Palestinian delegation visit the Turkish General Consulate and met with the Turkish consul.
The delegation composed of Shikh Ekrima Sabri, Sheikh Mohammad Hussien, Bishop Attala Hanna, Abdel Rahman Abu Arafeh, Mohammad Jadallah, Rania Ilias, and Abdel Qader Hussieni.
The delegation conveyed to the consul the appreciation and gratitude of the Palestinian people to the people and government of Turkey for their Position against the Israeli criminal aggression against civilian people in Gaza
