A Palestinian delegation represents “Jerusalem Arab Cultural Capital 2009” visited Bahrain between 26-28 August, 2008. The delegation was composed of Mrs. Tahani Abu Daqqa minister of culture and Mr. Abdel Raman Abu Arafeh, Director of the Arab Thought Forum. The delegation met with the Bahrain Information Minister in charge of culture, and both the minister of youth and social affairs. In the meeting the issue of Jerusalem 2009 was discussed, including the activities planned for the occasion, mainly the parts that will be implemented in the Arab countries and the Bahrain contribution especially for activities to be carried on Bahrain.
